Adelaide is a beautiful city that has so much to offer. You can spend all day exploring the streets and taking in the sights. Or you could take an extended tour around Adelaide’s famous landmarks. Food and wine

The Barossa Valley

The Barossa Valley is a region in South Australia. It’s known for it’s wine production and small charming towns.

A visit to the Barossa valley is an absolute must. It truly has something for everyone, including wine tasting and visits to historical landmarks like Hahndorf.

There are many things you can do here, such as going on scenic drives, visiting the wine cellars for tastings.

McLaren Vale and Glenelg Wine Tasting Tour

If you love wine, then I suggest making a trip to McLaren Vale! It’s just under an hour away from Adelaide and offers some of the best reds in the country.

There are many vineyards to explore as well as restaurants and art galleries. It’s an easy day trip, so bring your family!

The Jam Factory

The Jam Factory is one of the most exciting places in Adelaide, and you can see why. You’ll find it has a unique experience that gives visitors opportunities to try their hand at making jam, as well as sampling some of the factory’s best products.

National Wine Centre

A visit to the National Wine Centre is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Adelaide. The centre offers tours of their cellar where you’ll learn about wine making and get to taste some delicious wines!

Adelaide Gaol Ghost Tour

Every year, many tourists visit the Adelaide Gaol in hopes of being lucky enough to see a spook. People have reported seeing apparitions wandering around the grounds during daylight hours as well.

The Adelaide Gaol is an incredible location for ghost enthusiasts, as it has been a place of both pain and suffering. Prisoners were subjected to harsh conditions during their time at the gaol.

This attraction is not for the faint of heart!

South Australian Museum

There are many fun things to do in South Australian Museum! First you can visit the gallery of Indigenous Cultures. The galleries provide an excellent introduction to Aboriginal culture including stories, history and artefacts.

The South Australian Museum is a great place for adults and children alike. Located in North Terrace, The Adelaide Central School of Art stands opposite the museum. A cafe located inside the art school serves light refreshments while you admire some amazing artwork.

Glenelg

Glenelg is an established beach-side town, and a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors. It has a long, attractive coastline with beautiful beaches that are perfect for swimming or surfing. The waters are protected from the surf by rocky outcrops.

Tourists come from all over the world to enjoy Glenelg. It’s a beautiful coastal town where you can relax and wander through charming streets full of interesting stores, cafes, restaurants and bars.

Kagaroo Island

Kangaroo Island is a great place to visit, especially for its wildlife. There are many things you can do and see there including watching wild kangaroos hopping around in their natural habitat. You can even hold one if it’s small enough!

Adelaide Oval Stadium Guided Tour
